With a mechanical engineering background and 31 years working for NASA, Dr. Robinson never achieved her goal of becoming an Astronaut but did become an Astronaut trainer for 6 different shuttle missions. She did get to build rockets, develop payloads, and work on some incredible projects.

After leaving NASA, the opportunity at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center opened up and it was a great opportunity to leverage all the skills I’ve acquired over the years.

Dr. Robinson was recently featured in Edie Hand’s Women of True Grit book and was highlighted in a documentary, The Women of NASA as part of the Women of True Grit series.
